Abstract

In March 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Sumatera Barat Province will be 3.93 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.54. The highest inflation occurred in Pasaman Barat Regency at 5.90 percent with a CPI of 109.60 and the lowest occurred in Padang City at 3.39 percent with a CPI of 106.88.
Based on monitoring results from BPS-Statistics Sumatera Barat Province in 4 districts/cities, in March 2024 there was y-on-y inflation of 3.93 percent, or an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 103.47 in March 2023 to 107.54 in March 2024. On a month to month (m-to-m) basis, Sumatera Barat Province in March 2024 experienced inflation of 0.64 percent. Until March 2024, year to date (y-to-d) inflation in Sumatera Barat Province was 1.49 percent
